Fuck it, I'm a flower!

‘Fuck it, I’m a flower!’ celebrates self-care as an act of rebellion: courageous, defiant, tender. The new dance piece by Winterthur-based choreographer Audrey Wagner is a powerful plea for more ‘Fuck it’ moments in life. Like a flower fighting its way through hard earth, the dancers defy draining structures. The choreography portrays pausing as a way of gathering strength, as well as a departure to overcome resistance. Self-care becomes earth, light and water, creating the conditions under which the dancers not only endure, but blossom in their own, distinctive way.
